All Star Charity Gala 2011

More than 30 celebrities mingled among 500 guests at the DeBartolo Family Foundation’s Eighth All Star Charity Gala presented by Wells Fargo and Bright House Networks on March 4th at the A La Carte Event Pavilion. The “Forever Hollywood” themed event brought in more than $400,000 to benefit the Foundation, which supports some of the Tampa Bay area’s most worthy causes.

“What a night to watch the stars come out. It’s a perfect evening for glamour, gorgeous gowns, great entertainment and of course, giving back to our community,” Lisa DeBartolo, Executive Vice President of DeBartolo Holdings, LLC, said at the event. “It’s been my family’s privilege to host this event for eight years, and it’s hard to believe it’s been that long! Our All Star Charity Gala is the Foundation’s only fundraiser, and thanks to your support, with tonight’s event, we have raised close to $3 million dollars for the Foundation.”

Designed by the DeBartolo Family and Tiffani Packer, the Gala paid tribute to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. After being greeted by “Paparazzi”, guests entered the “Hollywood Hotel” up a custom twelve-step staircase landing upon an elevated view of the ballroom adorned in three tiers of unique dinner seating, banquette booths and images of Hollywood’s most revered celebrities in ornate gold frames. Joey Fatone led the most successful live auction of any Gala – auctioning off not one, but two trips to the DeBartolo family’s Fourth of July event in Kalispell, MT – and raising over $130,000 for the Foundation’s programs. A performance by Paul Anka, The Cowling Band and a Jersey Boys Tribute from Los Angeles concluded the evening.
