The Spirit of Humanity Award was created to honor non-profit corporations that provide extraordinary assistance to Tampa Bay residents with special needs. Since April 2002, 50 organizations have been recognized for their contributions to the community.
To qualify for the Spirit of Humanity award, the organization must have a 501 (c)(3) designation from the IRS. To nominate a deserving non-profit organization for the Spirit of Humanity Award, click on Nomination. Non-profits may also nominate themselves for the award.
The Community Grant program was established to provide financial support once annually to non-profit, grass roots organizations in need of assistance to achieve their goals. Since 2001, the Foundation has awarded more than 100 organizations with grants.
Our 2017 Community Grants Cycle is now open. If you are interested in requesting an application, please email your request, along with your organization’s mission to Melissa Johnson at email@example.com. Please be sure to include your organizations Mission in your email.
